Deleting your Odim account

You can delete your Odim account at any time. This page explains what happens, what we keep, and how to ask if you cannot sign in.

How to delete it from the app

Open the Odim app, go to Profile, and tap Delete account at the bottom. You will be asked to confirm once. Your account is deleted immediately — there is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

How to ask if you cannot sign in

Write to odimapp5@gmail.com from any email address and tell us the phone number on the account. We will call that number to check the request is really yours before we delete anything. We acknowledge your request within 72 hours and complete it within 15 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and your sign-in.
• Your name and your phone number.
• Every delivery address you saved, including the map locations you pinned.
• The notification registration for every device you used.

What we keep, and for how long

Your past orders stay on our records. Each order holds a copy of the name, phone number and delivery address — including its map location — it was placed with, made at the moment you placed it, and deleting your account does not remove it. We keep these order and tax records for 8 years, because tax and legal record-keeping rules require it. After your account is gone, those orders are no longer connected to any account.

Two smaller things are attached to the delivery rather than to your account, so deleting your account does not reach them. Both delete themselves:

• Where the rider was. While an order is on its way we keep one current position for the rider so we can show you the map. It is erased up to about 48 hours after the delivery closes, and nobody can see it after the delivery ends.
• The map route. We cache the road line between the store and a delivery address so we do not ask the map provider for it twice. It is not linked to your account or your name, and it is deleted within about 90 days.

Your other rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can also ask to see the data we hold about you or correct it, without deleting anything. Our Privacy policy explains those rights and how to escalate if you are not satisfied with our answer.
